John’s English is excellent. His fluency in English made it easy for us to discuss any topic, to understand what we were seeing, as well as local customs and current affairs in the country. John’s extensive experience as a guide was evident in his choice of park guides, accommodation and recommendations for local activities and restaurants. In the parks, he helped to spot animals and added to the information provided by the park guides. Even our long days driving went by easily because of our fun conversations with him. We were initially worried about our visit to a local community because we thought we might not be welcome. However, John’s relationship with local families made this visit one of the highlights of our tour. In spite of the terrible road and driving conditions and inherent risks of travelling in Madagascar John made us feel safe at all times. In short Emily, I don’t think we could have had a better guide. As indicated in my Tripadvisor review, I highly recommend your Madagascar tour and this recommendation is due to our experiences with John. Again, please let me know my Tripadvisor review was posted. Regards, Bronwyn Loeb

:My trip to China was nothing short of incredible. The country perfectly blends ancient history, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant modern culture. My cousin and I recently returned from an unforgettable trip to China, and I have to say, the experience was made even more special thanks to our incredible tour guides. From start to finish, their professionalism, knowledge, and hospitality went above and beyond expectations.Start with our travel consultant, Emily Xin, who is with TravelChinaguide. The communication helped us to answer all questions and needs from the beginning to the end of the trip to Shanghai. In Beijing, our guide, Serena, deeply understands history, including the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, and Great Wall. Her stories and insights made each site more meaningful. Thank you for the accommodation and recommendation. Serena was a great tour guide in Beijing. In Xi'an, our guide, Roger, was equally outstanding. He shared the fascinating history behind the Terracotta Warriors, visited the ancient cities, and cosplayed with a Tang dynasty outfit at the big Goose Pagoda. His passion for the city's culture was genuinely inspiring. In Chengdu, our guide, Liney, is a young lady with much knowledge. We visited the giant Panda breeding research base to cosplay, photoshoot, shop, and try the local noodles, hotpot, and Chengdu nightlife. We had so much fun.In Zhangjiajie & Fenghuang, our tour guide is LJ. In addition to the breathtaking Glass Bridge, Avatar, Tianmen Mountains, and the little town of Fenghuang, LJ was very informative and professionally gave us lots of advice and recommendations. In Hangzhou, we met our little brother, Spike. He thoughtfully cared for my cousin's birthday and brought lots of joy. We visited Impression West Lake and Lingyin temple and tried the local yummy hotpot together. Our tour guide at the last stop in Shanghai was Bella. We requested memorable events not from our itinerary, and Bella helped us arrange our dinner reservation before arriving. Her patience and hard work to fulfill our last stop were an enjoyable and memorable trip.Overall, my cousin and I had a wonderful trip and fun; many memories are stored in our albums for life. We will be back and hope to see all of you again. Once again, thank you to all of you and the friendly drivers. We will recommend our travel agency and tour guides to all future visitors to China.

We went to Guilin for 5 days and everything about our experience with Travel China Guide was great, from initial planning and booking with our travel consultant Ashley to when our amazing guide Lily dropped us off at the airport. The booking process was super clear with Ashley. She was very helpful in recommending the perfect itinerary for the amount of time and activity types we were interested in. I was skeptical about handling payment through direct bank transfer but everything was legit and seamless. Our guide Lily and driver Mr. Tree were a dream team. They immediately made us feel at home as soon as we were picked up at the airport. Lily is incredibly knowledgeable about the area - she was also great at reading a room, knowing when to share more with us about things we were interested in and pulling back when we needed time to ourselves. She's also just great to hang out with.Lily and Mr. Tree made sure we hit all the plans in our itinerary without making it feel stressful. When a river cruise was potentially getting rained out, Lily shared a great back up plan almost immediately (we ultimately didn't need it). Along the way, we expressed interest in a couple of additional activities and Lily added them into our days seamlessly.Overall amazing experience. Highly recommend Lily as a travel guide, anyone would be so lucky to have her!

:For the first time in my life as passionate traveller, I planned a solo trip to China. I contacted Travel China Guide and communicated with Mrs. Kina Lu, who took my needs and indications very seriously and tailored a perfect tour, considering that my main interest was to see the Pandas in Sichuan. The outcome of the guided tour was much better as I expected, and the price was absolutely fair. I am very thankful to the patient, kind and very professional guides and drivers, who made my travel exciting and enjoyable. I have to mention some "extra miles", like booking my bullet train window seat in the first row, or my guide Linney, who patiently cleared a misunderstanding at the Chengdu airport, or the wonderful room I had in the Crowne Plaza hotel in Ya'an. The staff of Travel China Guide made me feel welcomed and at home in China. I recommended this agency to friends and relatives in Europe. And last but not least, I could meet all the super star Pandas, making my tour just perfect!

My husband and I wanted to visit Cambodia for quite some time. When I was planning our trip, I knew that a visit to the historic Angkor Wat temples was definitely on our list, but I wasn’t sure about what else to visit in Cambodia. Mrs Wendy Lee from Agate Travel did a really nice job helping us to plan our trip. We had a few conversations with her to describe what we were interested in doing/seeing and she came up with a suggested itinerary and made all the arrangements. From the moment I first contacted her, 6 months prior our trip to the conclusion of it, she always replied quickly via email. The price she quoted us was great, better than the prices of other companies I had also contacted. Cambodia is an amazing place with so much to see. During our 14-day tour we visit Phnom Penh, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom, Siem Reap, Battambang, Kampot and Koh Rong Island. The country is incredibly rich in culture and natural beauty. Every place we visited had something unique and special that made it stand out. Cambodian people are incredibly kind, gentle and their hospitality is superb. From beginning to end, everything was perfect and there were no mishaps. The hotels were really good, the service outstanding and the guides and drivers knowledgeable, caring and concerned for our safety. Of the wonderful places in Cambodia, Siem Reap temples were the most amazing experience made only better by our guide, Mr Heng Sourchanrith. He was brilliant in ensuring that we not only saw a range of sites, but we also had a lot of background information, giving us detailed explanations about the places, the historical context, the art and meaning of the symbols and writings that cover the walls and piles of the temples. Also explain to us many legends about the places we visited and the people who lived there in those times and about the live and the culture of the in Cambodia in nowadays. I also must note he was particularly good with the timing of our visits to the busier places, which avoided most of the crowds. Thank you for an amazing trip. We have no hesitation in recommending Agate Travel. If we return to Southeast Asia, we will book through them again.

On October 18, 2024, Zhangjiajie was alive with thousands of locals, hikers, and travellers all drawn to its natural wonders. Our guide, Mr. Luo Jia Le, expertly kept our group of eight together, skillfully helping us avoid the long lines and any potential challenges along the way. With his guidance, we smoothly navigated Zhangjiajie's breathtaking sites, moving seamlessly through fast-track services to access each scenic area. The adventure included an exhilarating ride up the Bailong Elevator, a battery car tour of Tianzi Mountain, and a visit to the nature reserve, where we witnessed the awe-inspiring formations of peaks, columns, plateaus, and natural arches. These geological marvels truly defy description. Only by standing in Zhangjiajie can one fully appreciate the magnificence and uniqueness of these towering landscapes. Photos simply cannot capture the profound beauty and wonder that the mountain ranges and peaks of Zhangjiajie offer. it's an experience that lives in memory far more vividly than any image could convey.Tianmen Mountain held an almost otherworldly charm, with dense fog wrapping the landscapes in mystery. every steps we took was enveloped in a soft, silvery haze that transformed familiar surroundings into something enchanted and unknown. When we reached the Tianmen Cave, the mystical ambiance grew stronger. This natural arch carved by time into the mountains rugged face felt like a gateway, a portal that separated the world below from something far beyond our understanding. Standling before it, we felt both small and spellbound, sensing the quiet power of nature at work over countless centuries.Throughout this surreal experience, we were fortunate to be guided by Mr. Luo, whose calm attentiveness provided a grounding presence amidst the mystique. He was always vigilant, ensuring our safety as we carefully traversed the wet, slick paths, particularly mindful of our group's seniors. His expertise and thoughtfulness were clear in every step he took, offering gentle encouragement and a watchful eye as he led us up to the Tianmen Cave. His genuine care allowed us to lose ourselves in the mountain's wonder, knowing we are in safe hands, Mr. Luo wasn't just a guide; he become a guardian of our journey, making our day not only mesmerizing but also unforgettable.
